The second short film is a combined effort from students of first year batch [2004-2009] headed by Amey Kandalgaonkar , Sir J.J. College of Architecture.

Titled Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi, the film depicts how the various transportation system runs the city of Mumbai, majorly highlighting the lifeline of city-The Local Train.

The third short film in the series is a work by second year students headed by extremely talented Taranubh Dutta.

The film titled Mumbais local life- A different stroke is story of a common man who is depressed from his monotonous life and lacks aspiration to live on. But when he goes on the streets only to encounter the energy and hope that Mumbai offers to each one, he is a changed man at the end of the day

The movie series was a Sir J.J. College of Architecture students council initiative under the guidance of Prof. Paragi Mehta assisted by Radhika Toshniwal, Amol Kale & Kanwal Deep Kapoor.

Way before SlumDog Millionaire, group of students captured Mumbai into their cameras; these 4 short films show the varied city of Mumbai in its raw format.

The first short film titled Dawn of the city which never sleeps is combined effort by Amol Kale, Biswarup Deb Roy and edited by Kanwal Deep Kapoor.
